Data deletion instructions
You can stop Growzy from processing your Instagram data at any time, and ask us to delete the data we store. Here is how.
1. Disconnect your Instagram account
In the Growzy app, open your workspace settings and disconnect the Instagram account. This stops all processing for that account and removes its stored access credential immediately. Saved automations and activity are kept until you request deletion, so you can reconnect later without losing your setup.
2. Revoke access in Instagram
You can also remove Growzy directly from Instagram: open Instagram, go to Settings, then Apps and websites, find Growzy and remove it. This revokes our access even if you cannot sign in to Growzy.
3. Request deletion of your data
To delete your stored workspace data, automation settings, contacts, and comment or message activity, email support@usegrowzy.com with the subject "Growzy data deletion request." Include:
- The email address you use to sign in to Growzy
- The Instagram username or usernames involved
- Whether you want specific data deleted or your entire account
Never send a password or access token. We will confirm that you own the account, delete the requested data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
If you messaged a business that uses Growzy
If you commented on or messaged an Instagram account that uses Growzy and want your information removed, contact that business first, since they control their contact list. You can also email us with the business's Instagram username and your own, and we will help.
What we may keep
We may keep limited records where required for legal, tax, billing or security purposes. Our hosting provider's logs and backups expire according to their retention schedules.
See our privacy policy for more on how we handle data.
